Debt Advice from Debt Advisory Line

Debt Management, IVA, Trust Deed Case Studies

IVA - Case study

Both I and my husband had good jobs and both earned respectable salaries; we were able to pay our monthly credit commitments with no problems. We enjoyed holidays abroad and all the benefits of having a good income. Unfortunately in July 2005 my husbands company relocated to Scotland and due to our family commitments here in Chester he was unable to relocate with the company. My husband was unable to find another job with the same salary and took a job that paid considerably less than before. We started to use our credit cards for day to day living and used loans to consolidate other loans. By the end of the year the pressure to pay our monthly credit commitments had become overwhelming. I looked on the internet for some advice and came across the website for Debt Advisory Line; I contacted them and spoke to an advisor who went through my options. Both my husband and I met the criteria for an IVA. It was so reassuring to know that we could call our own Personal Account Manager if we had any problems with the pressure that we were under. With just one phone call to the Debt Advisory Line we came to an agreement with our creditors and are now paying a monthly amount we can comfortably afford

Trust Deed - Case study

...in 2004 I got married and we had the big wedding we always wanted. Because at the time we both worked we thought we can afford to pay back the loans I had taken out to cover the wedding. In 2005 my wife became pregnant and went on maternity leave with the intention of going back to work a year later. When it came to going back we found she was pregnant again, unfortunately there were some complications which meant she could not return to work. In the meantime our debts were continuing to rise and rise. It got to the point where we didn't have enough money left at the end of the month for the basic living expenses incurred with a growing family. I found the advert for Debt Advisory Line in a national newspaper and called them the same day. After speaking to an advisor I was told that a Trust Deed was my best option. I sent all my details to them and in what seemed no time at all I was paying just one monthly affordable payment. I can know enjoy my spare time with my wife and small children without the added stress of my debts

Mr. McIntosh from Inverness

Debt Management - Case study

I was living with my girlfriend and between us we had a good combined income. When we split up I continued to live in the flat and took over all the living expenses on my own. The credit cards that we used were all in my name so I had the responsibility of paying these as well. I was unable to afford all the monthly outgoings on my own so took out more credit cards to pay my credit commitments. Before I knew it my debts had spiralled out of control. A friend of mine told me about Debt Advisory Line as she had set up a debt management plan with them. I called them and after talking to one of their helpful advisors it was established that under my circumstances a debt management plan was my best option. Within no time I had come to an arrangement that suited both myself and my creditors and I can now afford to pay all my credit commitments and can afford to live in my flat. Calling Debt Advisory Line was the best decision I made and I no longer dread the phone ringing or the postman...
