Can I get help with debt consolidation?
Our solutions will help you repay debts at an affordable level, rather than take on an expensive new debt consolidation loan. We negotiate with your creditors to try to freeze interest and charges, reduce your repayments and consolidate them into one single affordable payment.
How can I get debt relief? I want to be debt free?
When you have financial worries you want to be able to talk to someone who really understands your problems and can really help you get debt relief. You can rely on our professional and specialist team to negotiate with your creditors direct to reduce, and in some cases, clear your debts.
There are times in our lives when something happens that turns our world upside down; a pay cut, critical illness, bereavement or even a wind fall. Money problems can arise, meaning you're struggling to repay debts or to consolidate debt into one affordable loan.
All our Personal Account Managers are trained to use their knowledge and experience to guide you to becoming debt free. They will always be discreet, efficient and sympathetic in any dealings with you.
Our aim is to find a solution for you to clear debt in the shortest time, and keep your debt repayments affordable. If you are lucky enough to have a windfall we can negotiate full and final settlement of your debts, usually securing up to 60% discount.
How exactly does a debt management plan work?
Within our 2 times award winning debt management service we will:
- Review your finances, income and outgoings, and help you take stock of your loan, store card, credit card, overdraft payments, and any other creditors.
- Provide you with advice and a debt management solution based on your individual circumstances..
- Calculate what you can actually afford to repay.
- Prioritise and allow for your essential day-to-day bills.
- We will then negotiate with your unsecured creditors to try to reduce or freeze interest and charges and agree an affordable plan.
- You simply make 1 single monthly payment and we distribute that to your creditors as agreed.
- We will give you a Personal Account Manager to guide you, keep you informed and manage all incoming creditor enquiries.
- If your circumstances change we will re-negotiate your agreement, and consider other more appropriate solutions if applicable.
Ultimately we need to keep your creditors happy. You are assigned a Personal Account Manager who is supported by our Creditor Liaison team, who work in the background, to develop the best relationships with your creditors and debt collectors. They are a team of highly trained and experienced negotiators with years of experience and understanding of working with creditors.
We will bring creditors up to date with all personal changes of circumstances and developments through the life of your Debt Management Plan.
You will have regular financial reviews with your Personal Account Manager to ensure the plan is affordable for you whilst still being able to maintain your essential bills.
How do I know my debts are being paid?
Each month you will be sent a statement which will show a breakdown of payments sent to your creditors. In addition to this you will receive statements from your creditors.
Can I deal with creditors myself?
Yes, of course. We are here to provide a professional option because many people are looking for the best possible repayment agreement with all of their creditors, and to be debt free as quickly as possible. We are able to bring our existing relationships with creditors to bear as we negotiate on your behalf. We also provide a single point of contact, a dedicated account manager and 1 single affordable repayment. 'Credit Today' has twice voted Debt Advisory Line 'Debt management provider of the year'.
