Who are The Debt Counsel?
The Debt Counsel was formed to promote good practice in the Debt Management Industry, and to protect the interests of the consumer and their creditors.
Debt Advisory Line have been a voluntary member of The Debt Counsel since it was established in November 2009 and have agreed to follow their strict code of conduct. The Debt Counsel aims to encourage the highest standards within the Debt Management industry and to ensure that debt management clients are dealt with in a transparent, responsible and compassionate manner.
This means that The Debt Advisory Line’s clients and future clients can be sure that they will receive free impartial debt advice that is based on their financial circumstances and the customer service standards exceed those set by the Office of Fair Trading.
